Description
This piece of Black Walnut came from the section of a tree where the trunk and branch came together. I started by rough cutting it to round on the bandsaw, then mounted it to the lathe, woodturned the piece to my design style, carefully sanded and finished it, and laser engraved my (previous branding) logo on the bottom. The food-safe oil brings out the natural, rich dark patterns in the feather grain. It’s the perfect display plate for cupcakes, veggies, grapes, candies, other small yummy items, or jewellery.
